Great. Another Rascist

I found this from Warren Kinsella's blog.

This concerns a woman from Saskatchewan named Catherine McMillan, who maintains a popular far right, anti-aboriginal web site called Small Dead Animals, and was hired by the Western Standard magazine to be its blog site administrator.

This is her blog entry:

"The Most Politically Incorrect Question You'll Read All Day
Is there a point where we are allowed to stop feeling sympathy for these people, seal off the borders and just let nature take its course?"

McMillan then links to a Reuters story, found here, which details the spread of the Marburg virus in Western Angola. The virus has killed nearly 200 people.

So it would appear she's rascist and supporting genocide. She's from Saskatchewan.
and she works for Western Standard.

...

I guess it means I'm writing another letter.

Two rhetorical questions: Who the fuck are these people, and where do they come from?

A question for you - did you just parrot Kinsella's post hoping to appear clever, or did you simply make the deliberate decision to mislead?

Cluebat: Successful, ethical blogging requires you actually verify what you're writing about. Not only is the post referenced still in existance, it has a lengthy comments section in which it is pointed out ad nauseum that it takes a special type of soft bigotry to equate stupidity and tribal superstition with a specific race - and that was Kinsella's doing, not mine.

But I don't have much hope that you'll be able to pierce the fog of your own faux superiority to grasp that.

Oh shit! Found out!

>>Cluebat: Successful, ethical blogging requires you actually verify what you're writing about.<<

Kinda like how you verified what Calvert actually thought about the federal NDP-Liberal budget agreement? Maybe you could show me the ropes about this magical "ethical" blogging business.

Hey that's super. The truth is, I didn't see it when I visited it. Had I seen it, I wouldn't have written that it was removed. Tell you what. Post the original comment here so that everyone can see it for purposes of clarification.

And congratulations! You're like the first person to read my blog! Come back again anytime when you're searching for yourself on the internet!

Your link came up when I did a routine check at technorati. I don't need to search for myself on the internet - I have a pretty good idea where I am.

I'm not sure how one can "not see" something that you acknowledge you "visited". If you want to find it, try a search on "Kinsella" at my site. Knock yourself out.

But I suspect you have school in the morning, so eh... don't stay up too late.

By the way, Kinsella is no better at fact checking than you are. I don't "work" for the Western Standard.

That's cute.

>>I'm not sure how one can "not see" something that you acknowledge you "visited".<<

Umm, I'm not sure either. In the spirit of goodwill I have edited the post in question. Please accept my apologies. You are still free to paste your original post here.

Is that a knock against my age? A personal attack. Curious. How very curious.

Excellent work avoiding any mention of your own hypocrisy by bringing up Kinsella's fact-checking skills. We all know what he meant, even if you don't work directly for a particular someone. Leave the semantics at home.

Why not ask Dear Kate about her comments about Aboriginals...

She is on record as saying "Canada needs institutions to lock up Aboriginal activists and apologists"

She is also on record as suggesting that it's time for Canada to recreate Residential Schools for Aboriginal children.

Google it.
It's all there.
